RFD’s Surviva 50 / 100 person Reversible Liferafts conforms to the SOLAS 1995 Chapter III Amendments, requiring a self righting or reversible capability.

Unique Liferaft Features

• Two super-imposed buoyancy chambers provide a high freeboard.

• Suspended floor in-between two buoyancy chambers.

• Self-erecting canopy which operates by a shuttle-like action provided by its own buoyancy.

• Robust weather protection provided by canopy regardless of which way the liferaft initially deploys.

• Water pockets, built into the canopy, ensure the continuous stability of the liferaft after deployment.

• Each liferaft is furnished with boarding facilities, external and internal lighting, lifelines, a drogue (sea anchor), a rescue line and quoit as well as other necessary items of equipment.

Liferaft Material
Constructed from lightweight and abrasion resistant polyurethane coate nylon.

Liferaft Container
GRP (glass reinforced plastic) containers with either A or B type emergency packs, which conform to the IMO International LSA Code.
